The Hospitality 1-2 class is a sponsored by
and participates in The START (Skills, Tasks, and Results Training) program is a curriculum intended to provide students an overview of the Lodging Food & Beverage industry , followed by a in-depth look at the most common line-level positions at most hotels. Upon completion of this program, the student is ready to perform the acquired skills on the job. This course includes an internationally recognized line-level certification of the student's choice, once the work requirement has been met.
Students in the Hospitality 1-2 class get on track to begin a career in Lodging, Restaurant or continue their education with additional Hospitality educational programs.
Additionally, START is an ideal curriculum for 9th or 10th grade high school students to prepare them to enter the Lodging Management Program (LMP) curriculum available to 11th and 12th grade students.
