LIBRARY AND MEDIA CENTER |
Please come to the LibrarySparks High School Library is open all day long for students andtaff to search for information, to find a good book, or to sit and read or do homework. Mrs. Richter and Mrs. Carnes can be seen eating their breakfast, lunch, and snacks at their desk so the library can remain open. Teachers are encouraged to bring their classes to the library for whatever plans you may have for your classes. Whether students need time on the computers or to take an AR test or to browse the book shelves, the library has what they need. Call Mrs. Carnes to arrange for class time which is on a first come first served basis. The library staff can find books for you. Let us know a week before you need them and we can pull a cart of books on whatever subject you might be studying. Books are checked out to staff for as long as needed, no overdue fines. Procedures for sending individual students to the library: The library staff pays close attention to the school expectations (Mrs. Richter is an expert on dress code). Make sure when you send an individual students to the library, he or she has an ID and an individual pass. These are required by SHS policies, see page 24 of the student agenda/handbook. We time stamp all passes and require a sign-in. |

Recycle Your MagazinesThe library always needs magazines. Please donate any copies that you have read and don’t need anymore. Students like reading current magazines and the library is a good place to recycle all that paper. |
