Welcome to the Sparks Middle School TEAM-UP 21st Century Community Learning Center!
Our Purpose is:
To provide a safe and caring environment where students can learn and work toward proficiency or better in reading/language arts and mathematics.
To enable all students to succeed as individuals and citizens by teaching them positive behavior and life skills.
To encourage adult family members to take a more active role in the education process - - their student’s as well as their own education
The 21st Century Community Learning Center program provides academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for students. The focus is on fun and engaging activities that students will enjoy doing yet still be learning and mastering skills that give them trouble during the regular school day. The class sizes for the 21st CCLC program are much smaller giving the teacher the greater freedom to tailor his/her instruction to the needs of the small group.
