Note from the Principal... Happy Holidays! I want to send a thank you to Kenny Baker, our music teacher for an awesome Thanksgiving Music Program. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to be able to fit everyone into the little theater at McQueen for this show. Thank you Kenny! This Friday, your child will be bringing home a paper ornament with a dollar amount listed. If your family would like to do so, we ask if you will donate the amount indicated back to the school so we can help our families in need this season. Thank you and happy holidays... Holdiay Gift Shoppe... Verdi's annual Holiday gift Shoppe is this Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Lil Powning Lunch room. There will be a large variety of gifts that the Verdi children can purchase for their families and friends. All gifts are priced .50 cents to $5.00 and gift wrapping is included. Parents can come and relax and wait for their children in our parent lounge, complete with coffee, cookies and hot chocolate. You won't want to miss this fun event!!!

PFA Meeting... If you have not done so, plan on attending the next upcoming meeting on Tuesday, December 8th at 3:25. See you there!

Verdi Spirit Wear... We still have a large selection of t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and more. These make for great stocking stuffers or gifts for the holidays. Just give us a call and we will make sure we have your size and we will get the item to you. Kids LOVE to wear their Verdi Gear on Fridays!

Nevada Historical Society... Plan to attend the History for the Holiday on Saturday, December 12th noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Historical Society Museum.
