Spirit Wear

» Show your support and pride for our school!!!

T-shirts cost $7.00 and are available in children and adult sizing. Students who wear Verdi shirts on Fridays will receive a special treat at the end of the day. Show your support and pride for our school!!!

Zip-up and pull-over Verdi sweatshirts and Verdi sweatpants are available for order. Examples and size samples are available in the office.

How to participate? Please stop by the office to pick up your new Verdi spirit wear t-shirts or download Spirit Wear Order Form. Money are due to the office by September 23rd.

Box Tops for Education

» Verdi receives $0.10 for each Box Top brought to the school

Earn cash for our school every time you shop for groceries (www.boxtops4education.com).

Box Tops can be found on Betty Crocker, Ziploc, Cheerios, Hefty, Chex, Green Giant, Fruit Roll Ups, Pillsbury, Huggies, Kleenex and Nature Valley... just to name a few!

How to participate? Clip Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and send it to school with your child or drop them off at the office.
From November to February please submit Box Tops in sandwich Ziploc bags with your child's name and teacher written on the bag.
Every student that turns in Box Tops in a Ziploc bag with their name and teacher written on it will receive a prize in March.

Campbell's Labels for Education

» Verdi will use barcodes to help purchase playground equipment

These bar codes will help us purchase playground equipment for our kids. Please check www.labelsforeducation.com/earn/participating-products.aspx for a complete list of participating products.

How to participate? All you have to do is cut out the UPC code panel from Campbell's product and submit in a sandwich Ziploc bag with your child's name and teacher written on the bag.

Model Dairy- Cash for Carton$

» Verdi receives $250 for every 1000 UPC code panels collected

Model Dairy Cash For Cartons Program will give Verdi E.S. $250 for every 1000 UPC code panels we collect from Model Diary products.

Verdi E.S. has been collecting Model Dairy UPC code panels for several years and we almost have 1000 UPC code panels to submit. Please turn in your UPC code panels from the Model Dairy products you use at home to help us reach a 1000 UPC this school year so we can receive $250.

How to participate? All you have to do is cut out the UPC code panel from any Model Dairy product pint size or larger and turn them into the office.

Howard's Chevron SMOG Service

» Verdi receives $5 for each Howard's Chevron SMOG Receipt brought to the school

Howard's Chevron picked Verdi Elementary School to donate to this year.

This is not limited to parent's and teachers. Have your neighbors, friends, co-workers, and anyone you know take their vehicle to Howard's Chevron for a smog help support our school.

How to participate? Turn in your Howard's Chevron smog receipt to our school office or send it to school with your child.

Please visit the Nevada Museum of Art. Each Verdi Elementary School student has a membership good through December of 2011.

This membership entitles the student and one adult to have UNLIMITED free admission into the museum. This is a great way to spend a few hours!

You do NOT need to take any paperwork with you!

How to participate? When entering the museum, let the ticket office know that you are from Verdi Elementary School and you will gain free admittance.
