The Verdi Branch is a full service library providing the community complete access to the Washoe County Public Library System.

Materials can be placed on hold and sent from any Washoe County Library Branch for pick-up at the Verdi Library. Materials can also be dropped off at the Verdi Library for return to any Washoe County Library Branch.

Verdi is a community full of history, but the information is scattered amongst the locals and public entities. The library is collecting documents and pictures to create a historical archive available to the community.

The library has a Mystery Readers Club and Saturday Morning Storytime.

The library conducts an annual Summer Reading Program for Verdi children and adults inspiring the community to read for pleasure and great prizes.
