A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPALDear Students, Parents, and Families of Verdi Elementary,
Welcome to Verdi Elementary School where every student has success and is accepted. Our goal is to provide a
safe learning environment conducive to meeting the academic, psychological, social, physical, emotional, and
behavioral needs of every child.
Since mastery of reading, writing, and math is essential for future success in school and life, high levels of performance will be expected of every child. Regular attendance and exemplary behavior at school are also expected. We are looking forward to a partnership with you in providing the very best social and academic opportunities for your child. Through the cooperative efforts of home, school, and community, we strive to instill responsibility, independence, and self-esteem in all our children. Verdi Elementary School is a small, rural school nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with less than 300 Kindergarten through 6th grade students. The students come from Verdi, Mogul, Mesa Park, Belli Ranch, and West 4th Street, including the Lakemont homes subdivision. This is a rapidly growing area, giving the school an excitingly diverse group of students. |
