Erin has been a counselor for five years at the high school level.  She graduated in 2000 with her Bachelor's in Psychology from San Diego State University and received her Master's in Counseling from Chapman University in 2004.

Sheryl is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, where she has
earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She also has a
Master's of Art Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of
Phoenix.
This is Sheryl's first year at Wooster, though it is her third year
as the GEAR UP Program Counselor for the Class of 2012. Before coming
to Wooster, she was at Vaughn Middle School for two years with the GEAR
UP Program; and prior to that, Sheryl was the Program Coordinator for
the District's Indian Education Program, as well as the teacher for
its Mobile Instructional Unit. She is also the Assistant Coach for the
Wooster Girl's Varsity Basketball Team.

My undergraduate degree is from the University of Cincinnati.  I earned a Bachelors of Arts in social work and received my diploma in 1978.  In 1986, I completed my graduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in Marriage and Family Therapy.  I worked for an inpatient psychiatric facility for 5 years and was a case manager and therapist there. I then worked 5 years as a social worker and family therapist for the State of Nevada Family Preservation Program.  I've been a high school counselor at Wooster High for 14 years. I advise and/or assist the GSA Club (Gay/Straight Alliance), the Photography Club and the Theater Club. I am an advisor and coach of the Wooster Bowling Team. One of the things I love about my job is seeing how much students grow and mature between their freshmen and senior years. It is awesome to see them walk out of high school as young adults, ready for adult challenges and achievements.
