I grew up in Palo Alto California, where I graduated from Gunn High School. I moved to Reno to go to the University of Nevada, where I graduated in 1992. I got my first teaching job in 1994 at Hug High School where I taught Special Education and Weights until 2006. I began coaching football while still at the University of Nevada, Reno. I have also coached football at Reed, Sparks, and Hug before being hired as head football coach at Wooster.
As well as being the football coach, my main responsibility at Wooster is building and teaching a weights program that will benefit all of our athletic programs.

Currently Teaching: Physical Education
Trina has been a physical education teacher and coach for 12 years, 10 of those years at Wooster High School. A native Nevadan, Trina was a high school three-sport varsity athlete and earned a scholarship to run track and field at the University of Nevada, Reno, in the early 90's. Completing her degree in 1995 as a physical education teacher, Trina wanted her life in sports to continue and eventually found her home at Wooster.
In 2004, Trina became one of 3 teachers in her school to receive her certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Around that same tome, Trina started a business helping under-exposed athletes connect with college recruiters using video and technology. This entrepreneurial idea landed Trina on ABC's Good Morning America with Robin Roberts in 2005 and 2006, where she won $5,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to both New York and Florida. She continues to run her business and teach today.
Trina loves teaching and still loves playing all team sports. She is married with one daughter and spends her extra time camping, working, and planning trips with her family and two dogs.
